Education

Graduated in Chemistry at the University of Freiburg (Breisgau). Went on to complete postdoctoral studies in natural sciences and took up a position as a scientific research assistant in the faculty of organic chemistry and biochemistry in Freiburg.

His passion is to take on ambitious challenges that provide the opportunity to extend personal and professional horizons. These formative and fundamental drivers were key in determining the eventual decision to commence a career as a search consultant.

Professional Career History

Ralf Vieser is one of the few executive search specialists in the marketplace who has a demonstrable track record of learning business from the bottom up, successfully working his way up through and to the top managerial tiers. His experience of leading on more than 500 search assignments speaks for itself.

In 1998 his career track took him directly into one of the longest and well-established search consultancies where he assumed responsibilities for clients across a range of sectors, based across Germany and Switzerland. After a successful period as a Project Manager he ventured into an opportunity in wealth management consultancy and gained valuable experience as member of the management board. His professional treasury considerably enriched, he subsequently returned to the Executive Search business at Partner level. In addition to his personal cross-sector portfolio of clients he assumed Group-wide responsibility and oversight for the key business area of Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare.

In order to provide both clients and candidates the best possible fully impartial service, Ralf Vieser made the decision to establish his own company – Vieser Executive Search AG.
